LOCAL EXPRESSION:
CHARITY GROUP SHOW AND SALE

LOCAL ARTISTS COME TOGETHER TO SUPPORT A GREAT CAUSE
Local Expression is the first charity local group show for Edissi Fine Arts. "We are thrilled to have such a talented variety of local artist come together for this show to support such a worthy charity," stated Edissi Fine Arts’ General Manager Gillian Flanagan. The objective of Local Expression, stated Flanagan, is to get the community involved with our local talents and to demonstrate that local and original artwork can be affordable and accessible.
The show will open on Thursday, July 8, 2010 and will run until Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Edissi Fine Arts Gallery on 907 Frederick Street in Kitchener, ON. The show is free and open to the public. Proceeds from sales will be in support of the local charity Work for a Cure, a volunteer driven organization which raises funds for cancer medical research.
Visitors will be surprised with the variety of artwork available at the show, ranging from paint, photography, fibre, glass, pottery and jewellery; there truly is something for every taste. Prices are starting as low as $10, making original and local artwork accessible to all audiences.
